"Quicksand" is the second episode of The Sandie Shaw Supplement, first broadcast on BBC One on September 17th 1968 at 21:55.[1]

Synopsis

From here to there with Sandie, travelling lady. Down Route 66 to San Jose in a Tijuana Taxi, she's a Homeward Bound Day Tripper with a Ticket To Ride on Trains And Boats And Planes. And if the Girl Don't Come - she'll have made her Getaway. Or hit a quicksand.[1]

  • This episode and "Salt, Pepper, and a Touch of Garlic" are the only surviving episodes of The Sandie Shaw Supplement after being returned to the BBC from overseas in the early 1990s.
