Channel 4
Appearance
Channel 4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network, which is independently operated by the state-owned Channel Four Television Corporation. It began its transmission on November 2nd 1982 and was established to provide a fourth television service in the United Kingdom. At the time, the only other channels were the licence-funded BBC One and BBC Two, and a single commercial broadcasting network ITV. The network's headquarters are based in London and Leeds, with creative hubs in Glasgow and Bristol.[1]
The television programmes broadcast on Channel 4 that Sandie Shaw has appeared on include Ear Say, The Music Game, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, and So Graham Norton.
