Iolanda Cristina Gigliotti (Italian: [joˈlanda kriˈstiːna dʒiʎˈʎɔtti]; January 17th 1933 – May 3rd 1987), professionally known as Dalida (French: [dalida], Italian: [daliˈda]; Arabic: داليدا), was an Italian naturalised French singer and actress.

Sandie Shaw covered her song "Arlecchino", released in Italy in July 1970[1][2], in its original language and English ("The Comedy"), the latter of which she wrote the lyrics to.
